Ovangkol’s more treble-focused, sparkling tone profile helps balance the top’s lower volume ceiling, making this an excellent option for fingerstyle guitarists who love to get creative with dynamics. Aesthetically, we’ve appointed this 414ce LTD with a hand-applied shaded edgeburst finish treatment for the back and sides, complementing cedar’s earthy, organic coloration. It ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell case.
