A used (2006) Epiphone Masterbilt MB-500 Factory 2nd Banjo with Hard Shell Case
Gold hardware, precision pearl inlays on the bound rosewood fretboard and headstock, and resonator binding make this a comely instrument for any stage. Traditional design with figured maple neck and 3-ply laminated maple resonator sporting a Remo head and bronze ring make it sound fantastic.
Checked by our in-house technician, the MB-500 2nd has very light fretwear and playwear.
Instruments labeled as Factory 2nds can be done so for various aesthetic or functional reasons.
This particular Banjo has a noticeable line running along the center of the fretboard.
This does not appear to be anything beyond a cosmetic issue and has no discernable effect on the playability of the banjo.
